How exact do my measurements need to be?

Will I need to seal my new granite countertops after they are installed?
We always seal the granite upon installation. Sealant protects the stone against dirt and spills that could result in staining, as granite is a porous surface. Sealant is necessary to maintain the beauty of the stone. We would highly recommend purchasing a sealant and applied once a year. Any natural stone sealants should be used and is relatively inexpensive.
How much overhang will I need to allow where there are finished edges?
Overhang is typically 1.5" unless a customer would like space for seating, like on an island or peninsula, where the overhang is typically 10-12".
What is included in my quoted price?
Template, fabrication and installation are all included in the quoted price, as well as under mount sink cutouts and faucet holes. Backsplash will be included unless otherwise requested by customers.
Should I use 3cm or 2cm slabs?
Residential customers almost always use 3cm slabs, while many commercial projects use 2cm slabs.
